Frank Alvarez is a graduate of LA CAUSA YouthBuild 1 program cycle in 2004 and then became an AmeriCorps member at Public Allies. He successfully completed that 10-month program, which further enhanced his leadership skills. Frank went on to work with L.A.Works for the past 2 years as their Youth Program Coordinator. Frank also attends Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where he has maintained a 3.8 grade point average for four semesters in a row, putting him on the dean’s list and the college president’s list, and supports youth organizing efforts in his free time. Frank now works full-time with LA CAUSA Youthbuild as our AmeriCorps Coordinator.
